Our 10/9/14 group was 8 people counting me, including three new people. We had a 35 minute meditation where we practiced mindfulness of needs and feelings grounded in the breath or body for the first 20 minutes and the spent the last 15 minutes on open concentration Vipassana.
After the meditation I gave a dharma talk on the difference between needs and strategies. In the last 20 minutes we had questions and sharing, with one member sharing about how hard it is for him to ask for space (a need) and that his strategies to meet that need are often unskillful.
We finished up at 9 pm.
